Jonathan attended the Northern Film School in Leeds. He has directed film, TV and commercials. His multi-award winning film FOSTER was a BBC new filmmaker finalist and sold to HBO and BBC. Jonathan directed the feature film, BEING CONSIDERED which starred David Tennant (Dr Who!) and James Dreyfus. He also shot Phillips commercials for their "Sense and Simplicity" campaign. In 2008 Jonathan was longlisted for The Hospital Club 100 (UK), nominated from over 50,000 industry peers, in the search for the authentic stars of Britain's creative industries. His short film entry for Filmaka, SWINGING WITH THE FINKELS was a finalist in the FX competition. As winner of the Filmaka/ JWT Ford Mustang Competition, Jonathan went to Japan to shoot the follow up film for Ford - a 6 part series on the world of drifting. Filmaka’s feature version of SWINGING WITH THE FINKELS screens at Cannes May 2010 while the feature version of FOSTER, starring Toni Collete and Ioan Gruffudd, just wrapped production.
