Jonathan Silverman has appeared in over thirty motion pictures including “Class Action” with Gene Hackman, “Stealing Home” with Jodie Foster, “Brighton Beach Memoires” with Blythe Danner, “Broadway Bound” with Anne Bancroft, “The Odd Couple II” starring Jack Lemmon and Walter Matthau, “The Cookout” opposite Farrah Fawcett and Ja Rule, and might be best known for his work alongside a dead guy in the cult comedy “Weekend at Bernie's.” His other film credits include “Denial”, “Breaking the Rules”, “ Freak City”, “ Traveling Man”, “ Littler Big League”, “London Suite”, “Caddyshack 2 ”, “For Richer…For Poorer”, “French Exit”, “Little Sister”, “12:01”, “ At First Sight”, “Just a Little Harmless Sex”, “ Kat & Allison”, “ Made”, “ These Old Broads”, “It is What it is”, “ The Medicine Show”, “Boobie's Girl” and “Deacons for Defense”. He recently starred in “Swinging with the Finkels” with Mandy Moore and Melissa George and “Snatched” opposite Andrew McCarthy.

Jonathan recently made his executive producing debut on the thriller THE INSPECTORS alongside Louis Gossett, Jr.

Jonathan has also starred in his own top-ten television series, “The Single Guy”, which ran from 1995-1997 on NBC. His other television appearances include “ER:, “Gimme a Break”, “Caroline in the City”, “In Case of Emergency”, “CSI: Miami”, “Close to Home”, “Psych” and “Friends”. He recently wrapped production on the “Untitled Jeff Strauss” pilot with Leah Remini and Matthew Lillard.

On Stage, Jonathan starred in the original Broadway production of Neil Simon's “Broadway Bound”: at the Broadhurst Theatre. He also starred in Mr. Simon's Broadway productions of “Biloxi Blues” and “Brighton Beach Memoirs”. His other theatre credits include Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize winner Tony Kushner's “The Illusion” and Roger Kumble's “Pay or Play” and “Sticks & Stones”. He recently completed a very successful premiere run of Roger Kumble's “Turnaround” alongside David Schwimmer and Tom Everett Scott at the Coast Playhouse.

Jonathan is very active in many causes locally and abroad, and serves on the board of directors of several charities, including the Young Leadership Circle, which raises funds for Cancer and AIDS research. He is also the shortstop for the Hollywood All Stars; a celebrity baseball team that plays at charity events in major and minor league stadiums across the country.
